2019 Spring Reception (5 March 2019)
The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO), the Taiwan Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Tourism Board Taiwan Branch jointly organised the 2019 Spring Reception on 5 March, with a view to strengthening ties with various sectors in Taiwan, and Hong Kong residents as well as Hong Kong businessmen in Taiwan. More than 400 guests from various sectors in Hong Kong and Taiwan, including finance, commerce and industry, arts and culture, tourism, academic and media, attended the event. Videos were broadcasted to present the latest developments and strengths of Hong Kong and how the city “Connect and Excel”, as well as to promote Hong Kong’s unique culture and tourist attractions. Along with decorations rich in Hong Kong characteristics, souvenirs promoting trade and tourism of Hong Kong were also distributed.
