Career Talk for Hong Kong Students in Taiwan – Civil Service of Hong Kong (16.5.2014)

The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) hosted a career talk for Hong Kong students on 16 May 2014 in collaboration with the Taiwan University and a number of Hong Kong and Macao student groups in Taiwan. Kevin Lai, Deputy Director of HKETCO, gave an overview of the civil service of Hong Kong, shared recruitment information with participants and explained HKETCO’s summer internships. Around 35 students from various universities in Taiwan joined the event.

This was the second of two career talks organised by HKETCO in May 2014 with a view to providing employment support to Hong Kong students. The other one was held earlier on 9 May with human resources specialists from Hong Kong and Taiwan discussing the job markets in the two places.
