Opening of "Soaring Creativity - Hong Kong Pavilion" (5.2.2014)
Director of the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office, Mr John Leung, officiates at the launch ceremony of the Hong Kong Pavilion at the Taipei International Book Exhibition 2014. Other officiating guests include Member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Honourable Ma Fung Kwok, SBS, JP (centre); Chairperson of the Taipei Book Fair Foundation, Ms Wang Guihua (second right); Chairman of the Organising Committee of "Soaring Creativity - Hong Kong Pavilion", Dr Elvin Lee (first left); and Convenor of the Organising Committee, Ms Terri Chan (first right).
About 1,000 books, 100 e-books and more than 110 other print matters from 25 publishers, 19 printers and 20 online book publishers in Hong Kong are being displayed at the Hong Kong Pavilion to showcase the bilinguality and diversity of Hong Kong's publishing and printing industry - Photo 1.
